Ideally, Zap could be made more compliant with Mac Tcc so it prompts for Tcc permission and shows up as available application to configure in Privacy settings for better management of TCC permissions.
Reset tcc permissions using 'sudo tccutil reset All 'Ĭan provide any logs or debugging steps to reproduce the issue. Gave full disk permissions to Zap in Mac Privacy settings. Tried following things and none of them worked. No errors in log file related to file dialog. If browseing to any other folder other than Documents/Downloads/Desktop folders, all files and folders are visible normally. Observe that no files/folders are visible. However even after that Zap is not able to see any files/folders in above folders. I tried resetting TCC for and gave 'full disk' permissions to Zap. (Presumably because of Mac's TCC permissions.). This is same for Desktop and downloads folder. It starts up fine, however when trying to open a previously stored session (from another laptop) in my documents folder, I am not able to see any files/folder inside Documents folder. I installed (and reinstalled multiple times) OWasp Zap in mac catalina 10.15.7. Applications now need to ask for permissions to access Documents/Downloads/Desktop folders. (You'll get a prompt asking you if you're sure you want to remove the link - if so, click Remove link.Mac mojave and catalina has new file permission model to improve security (aka TCC). Select Remove Link to delete the link and stop sharing with that link. Update the link expiration date, or clear the Set link expiration check box to remove the expiration date from the link. Select the password and change it, or clear the Set password check box to remove the password.
